Match the tool to your everyday mess
Start with the areas you clean most: kitchen crumbs, entryway grit, stairs, or rugs. A vacuum that is easy to reach and empty can be more useful for short cleanups than one with more attachments you rarely use.
Compare the right specifications
Check the weight in the configuration you will carry, dust-bin capacity, charging requirements, and runtime with the floor head and power setting you expect to use. A headline maximum runtime may refer to a different configuration. Look for replacement filters and batteries before buying.
Plan for storage and maintenance
Measure the charging location and check whether the dock requires screws. Read the instructions for removing hair from the roller and cleaning the filter. If frequent emptying or charging would interrupt your routine, compare a corded option too.
